nah....

Posted by knuxrouge Mar. 20, 2008 @ 8:55 PM EDT

Ehh....
It takes alot of thought to find yourself without a masturbation joke.
Yeah, I'm fucked up. I may not look like it on NG, but I'm fucked up.
Too fucked up.
I took that online emo test last summer and I turned out 38%, even my calculations were off.

Even so, I no longer think I'm emo.
My personality in question never really changed too much. I'd say I'm a jack of all trades and then some.
Sorry emo friends, I'm not one of you.
Although the final thought was mine, it was in someway motivated by many sources; that online test, some fellow newgrounders I pmed, and bitchy friends.
I don't plan on changing my lifestyle, I think its just right, aside from the obivous things I need to adjust.

I also want to give a friendly middle finger to everyone who commented me on this.
Not for the emo part.
But for in no way commenting on my ecchi announcement or the student thing.

I'm not upset at all though, I just expected someone to give a shit.

Emo is a fashion style and a fad, not a state of mind or a demographic. You can't be emo unless you openly admit to it. It's like saying, "I think I'm a Buddhist".

Mar. 20, 2008 | 9:10 PM knuxrouge responds:

Informative. But based on the info I gathered, its more than that.
I could be wrong though...

you're 18, meaning you're just going through some self-evaluation. everyone needs to in order to find out who they really are. after all, who wants to pretend to be something they aren't?

i get frustrated easily when i am confused, too, and i really don't share my emotions, but i know i'm not emo.

don't label yourself, anyway.

Mar. 20, 2008 | 9:23 PM knuxrouge responds:

Thanks for the kind words of advice.

Believe it or not, I can pretty much relate to about 90% of this news post. I like keeping to myself, most of the time, when it comes to personal/serious matters. But I've found that I can use that emotion in music, and creative writing, and then there's the other side of me that like to joke aroud heaps, and I find that I'm usually a pretty happy person because when I'm serious, I'm making music, it's what I love to do. But even though I like to make jokes and muck around a lot of the time, there's still lots of moments where I'm in a deep frame of mind, I feel more philosophical, than emo...

Mar. 20, 2008 | 9:50 PM knuxrouge responds:

I see your point.
I draw alot, but its not exactly a filter for my emotions. In the end it all comes down to how you feel.

Mar. 22, 2008 | 7:20 PM Postcount says:

Whatever you do, don't call yourself emo.

Mar. 23, 2008 | 12:10 PM knuxrouge responds:

Why?

Mar. 22, 2008 | 9:15 PM biggirl says:

I am emo.

Mar. 23, 2008 | 12:11 PM knuxrouge responds:

Yay?

Mar. 23, 2008 | 4:21 AM geoghan1 says:

dude *sigh* **takes knife away** emo is a style of metalcore

there is know way to dress emo...act emo...or smack the puppy

my chemical romance is not emo its faggy pop

Atreyu is EMO-pre lead sail paper anchor-

you need to get out more meet people the fuck them

human beings a socal creatures you dont need to be the life o the party
people who are poorly socialized are depressed and weird

but theres no point in being a wall flower

you are not emo, emo is not a state of being
you can't dress emo, thats just media garbage; like warlocks
people who say justify their actions buy saying "Im emo"
are only useing it as an excuse to cover up what ever issues they-dont-have
most "emos" grew up healthy and well adjusted and just wanna be different or have a minor problem and over-react, most of there mothers did not spank them...
so they clung to whatever fringe trend was present cause being sad is normal
being depressed is a medical condition, shit no sunlight would make every one feel blue...

so stop being an emo-skimo **laughs** and turn that angst into someting useful
like a metal ballad, or a badass picture

and im taking your soapbox till you got something not gay to say

Mar. 23, 2008 | 12:26 PM knuxrouge responds:

Thats one way to look at it..
But experience has shown to me that emo is a state of being. If it wasn't, then a state of being was formed known as "emo"

Indulging in lust is not gonna help, no matter how sweet it is and people in general society are too stupid to make friends with these days. I'm not an out going person,
On top of that my guitar playing skills are bad and I don't filter my emotions in pictures anymore--stopped working.
Dispite my mother's efforts, I don't see my upbringing as "healthy" and I don't overreact. You know these things.
Although it seems that I'm validating your point, I'm just addressing the different views on "emo".
I never called myself emo, I said "I think I'm emo"
Its heart-warming that you care, but I'm sure this is another phase in my life.
I'm more than positive that you have had yours.

How's that for "not gay"
*Takes back soapbox*

Hell Yeah.

Mar. 24, 2008 | 4:00 AM WritersBlock says:

Do you have a link to the online emo test?
It's fun to think something as simple as an online quiz can interpret your personality. In fact I took an online IQ test a little while ago, and apparently my IQ is 141...

Mar. 24, 2008 | 11:40 AM knuxrouge responds:

I don't recall it but you can google it, but be careful, some tests require you to subscribe to some shit.

Mar. 24, 2008 | 7:57 PM Cericon says:
