After zapping through a few brief thoughts of the Zelda timeline, which is rather...moot, I came to wonder about the other timeline to see why the hell people make such a big deal over the Zelda timeline in particular, so I brainstormed the Sonic time line and got to a bit weaker version of the moot-point that Zelda takes us.

Lets start with the first Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog. Even here at the very start, there's a problem. There are 2 different versions of that game. The 16 bit and the 8 bit. Now normally that wouldn't be a problem, but the thing about different versions are that 9 times out of 10, there will be a very distinguishable difference from each game--like the stages. Some stages in the 16 bit, weren't in the 8 bit and vise versa. The only logical explanation that does not involve the abuse of drugs is that they happened at the same time, but under certain transitions of moving from 1 place to another.
"Sonic went that way, but you wouldn't know that unless you played the 8 bit version."
The good part about this is that they had the same last stage, but its still a rocky start--At least the first Legend of Zelda was absolute. Now that that is good and over with lets got to Sonic the Hedgehog 2--yet another game with a 16 bit and an 8 bit version. The real problem here is what was fortunately lacking in the previous installment. These two game are nothing alike--not even by plot. In the 16 bit version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic and his new stalker/buddy, Miles ran after Robotnik and grounding his Death Egg, all while preventing him from snagging Chaos Emeralds. In the 8 bit version, Tails get kidnapped for no reason and Sonic tries to save him. These two games have only 1 thing in common, and that is that they both host the unofficial debut of Metal Sonic. The logical stand point here is that the 8 bit verison happened exactly before the 16 bit version. It can be the other way around, because the Death Egg crashed into Angel Island--its not like Robotnik said, "Oh yeah!? Well I'm going to run yo friend nugga!" and bombs away with Tails. No, he rebuilt it and it crashed again, but I digress. It only makes sense that before Tails and Sonic actually agreed to team up, Robotnik nabs Tails like a vulture preying on a rat and tries to kill him for some unknown reason--maybe he doesn't like foxes. Not alot of people will be all too aware of Sonic 2 8 bit, mainly because the game is rare, the alternative reason is that it is one of the most hardest Sonic games ever, the very reason that imprint night terrors on the poor souls who actually played the game, and the even poorer sould who conjured up the resolution of play it all the way through, not to mention the even poorer souls who wanted the true ending, which anyone would want. Its also one of the most darkest Sonic games ever, mainly because in the normal ending Tails dies. How? Hell if I know, recto-trauma, cancer, abuse, women, the list is endless, but nonetheless, he dies in the normal ending. The true ending is the happy one. So as you see there in the time line....yeah. 8 bit, then 16 bit.
Now we reach a very, very difficult part of this timeline. Perhaps the most rare Sonic game ever.
SegaSonic the Hedgehog.
I don't even fucking know the plot, but its safe to assume the usual. Defeating Robotnik.
Now as stated, I know very little about this game, only that it had an isotonic point of view, the graphics were over top-notch for its time, it was an arcade game never release in the states, it was really badass (so I've heard), it debuts Mighty the Armadillo and some other fag looking Squirrel (I think) that never ever appeared again. In any case I never spotted Tails, and his enthusiasm towards Sonic proves that this game had to have happened sometime before Sonic 2 at the least. Also, due to the shortage of knowledge about the game, its possible to have happened even before Sonic 1, and very much probable as well. But with no further info, I can't go any further. So lets just leave it as an incomplete equation. Before Sonic 2.
Now, lets have some fun with a game that every Sonic fan should play, but sadly didn't. Sonic CD.
This game, although the plot is rock solid, also has a moot-point for this game too, has two different versions (chuckles). The Sega CD version and the PC version. Now the games in themselves are pretty much identical in every way and you shouldn't worry too much about the games in themselves, but the manuals. This is where the bullshit in Sonic CD starts, with the plot. Now a good friend told me that the PC manual plot is the real one and the fags over at Sega of America got high and wrote some shit in the Sega CD version veering it more into the realm of comics and television. The Sega CD plot had some crap, fused with Sonic's comic and t.v. love interest Sally. Amy was in no way mentioned. You just know this is wrong. Sally only appeared in 1 Sonic game, and she only appeared once in that very game. That would be Sonic Spinball, which I'll get to later. The PC version was on the dot. Robotnik made planet, took some animals, including a pink female hedgehog and bombed away. This is also the official debut of Metal Sonic. Its clear where this game is. After Sonic 1, but before Sonic 2, for Tails had not existed yet, not only that, but because of the "real debut of Metal Sonic" thing, this has led be to believe that after his untimely destruction in act 3 of Stardust Speedway, Robotnik made some sort of homely remake that all failed miserably. So there.
Now another bump in the road, Sonic Chaos. Hm.... We have to keep in mind that after the 16 bit Sonic 2 was the Death Egg saga on Angel island. So anything not pretaining to that specific manner cannot be placed after Sonic 2 16 bit. So Sonic Chaos fits best between 8 bit Sonic 2 and 16 bit Sonic 2. No other logic can point to any other direction.
And, at long last... Sonic Spinball. Sonic infiltrates Robotnik's "Veg-o-Fortress" (What?) and destroyes is, ironically using Robotnik's own defense system to do it. Smart man. This can run best either between 8 bit Sonic 2 and Sonic Chaos, or Sonic Chaos and 16 bit Sonic 2, the latter being the more logical, as Tails had a plane in both Sonic Spinball and Sonic 2 16 bit, so he may have just built it. A problem arises once more, as the are 2 different versions of this game as well. Yup, somewhere is the deep crevices of hell lies a very very very crappy 8 bit version of Sonic Spinball. Whats worse is that the 8 bit version came out a year after the 16 bit. But as far as my memory can take me, the plot, and stage layout wasn't any different so its good to say that the 8 bit version is for commercial purposes and does not mess with this already delicat story line. My biggest issue with this game was the insane number of Chaos Emeralds you had to collect. What the fuck? I thought there were 7, why the hell is there 16 in Sonic Spinball--and all of them the same frigg'n color too? Bullshit, fresh from the Bull's colon. But to spare myself any stress, I'm just going to move on...
Next we have Robotnik's mean bean machine, 2 versions, you know the drill, but, a deal of good news is that is could have happened any time before Sonic 2 16 bit, the only logical proof here is Scratch and Grounder, which never made an appearance after Sonic 2, I say after Sonic Spinball at the most.
Finally, Sonic 3& Knuckles, this is easy, it happened directly after Sonic 2 16 bit. I named the games as a whole for there are some elements that were lacking in the individual games which leads to false intel. The true story is the game as a whole. Death Egg crashes, Robotnik need Chaos Emeralds, dupes the island's protector into thinking Sonic is enemy. Sonic grounds the Death Egg once again, this time into a live volcano and pursues to finish the job. Robotnik discovers Master emerald, shit get fucked up. Sonic saves day and Angel Island, getting rid of the Death Egg for good this time--finally. Easy.
But this breath of fresh air is quickly disrupted by Sonic Drift, which Knuckles took no part in. Sonic, Tails, Amy and Robotnik. Fun fact: This was the first game in which Robotnik was playable, not Sonic Adventure 2. My best estimate of where this game is would have to be...
...
...
...
After Sonic 2 8 bit. According to my theory of the timeline, Amy was still fresh and this is the best place.
Now, this is where shit get really fucking irritating, just for a second.
Sonic Triple Trouble, although one of my favorite 8 bit Sonic games, has no solid place in the timeline for 1 really brief reason.
Knuckles. He's still tricked into thinking that Sonic is the enemy. After seeing how Sonic saved Knuckles whole fucking island, he shouldn't be tricked too easily about this manner. On top of that, there's no really evidence what so ever, that they're even on Angel Island in this game. So...what?
I can only wedge this inside of very beginning of Sonic 3. Not Sonic & Knuckles, not Sonic 3& Knuckles, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Of course due to me previous theory on the Individual Lock-on games of Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles leads this to be 1 of 2 things. 1-This Sonic Triple Trouble never really happened in the direct storyline, 2-Sonic Triple Trouble happened much further after Sonic 3& Knuckles, perhaps after Sonic 3D Blast.
Now that thats over, we move on to Sonic Drift 2. Now with a more modern cast, we can put this in a safe spot, but with the original Metal Sonic in this game, my previous line might as well be omitted. Now, we have Knuckles and Nack--shit. This is best put after Sonic Triple Trouble. It honestly won't fit anywhere else. Nack is in the game, implying that the game is in the same universe as Sonic TT. Metal Sonic is in it and around this time there is a heavy fill of Metal Sonics. And Knuckles isn't technically categorized as an ally so it can fit here best, only by theory.
Before I proceed to the next game, let me stop here and discuss the gapping plot hole only created by adding Knuckles in Sonic 2 to the mix. This literally can fit nowhere!!! Knuckles bombs away from Angel Island to whip Robotnik's ass (please notice that he doesn't even know of him yet) and keep his Death Egg from ascending into space? Fucking A man. If the Egg Robo was in Robotnik's place in this game, then that would atleast put the game in a place, which would be directly before Knuckles' side of Sonic & Knuckles. Knuckles bitches up Egg Robo for no actual reason and Egg Robo gets revenge--makes sense, aside from the fact that Sonic & Knuckles is not apart of the true story by itself. But unfortunately, thats not the case, Knuckles beats up Robotnik in this game, thus giving it no place in the timeline.
Now on to the next installment, Tails Sky Patrol! Tails first of 2 solo games, complete with crappy gameplay, random new enemies and insane difficulty. Now this is an issue. NO OTHER SONIC CHARACTER APPEAR IN THIS GAME!!!! Not even the enemies, new bastards left and right. This game can literally go anywhere from before Sonic 1 to before Sonic Adventure. There are only 2 real leads that changes the case. The first on is how much Tails like Sonic. This fact my lead this game to before Sonic 1 at the best. The second is that Tails gets a plane in Sonic 2 from there on. That also lead this game to before Sonic 1, because if Tails was on "Sky Partol", common sense would dictate that he use his plane. So, before Sonic 1 it is. Four stages of shit can get annoying, even for Tails.
Now we have Knuckles Chaotix, just like Sonic CD, every Sonic fan should play this, but they haven't. This game be be either before or after Sonic 3& Knuckles, but I'm gonna say before, mainly because of Mighty being in the game (who is a cool character by the way). Remember SegaSonic The Hedgehog, Mighty debuted in that game. This game fits best before Sonic 2 8 bit, too close to Sonic 3& Knuckles who have me guess that Mighty might as well could have told Knuckles the truth seeing how he met Sonic before and too far from the game would have me guess that Mighty met Sonic, then Knuckles (or vise versa) and ventured with them both, which doesn't feel right, plus the first reason applies here too.
Now we move on to Tails' Adventure, my favorite 8 bit Sonic (esque) game. Unlike Tails Skypartol, this game kicks ass and the plot in itself explains where it goes, right before Sonic 2 8 bit, the plot officially states that this game happened right before Tails met Sonic. Wow, good game and it puts itself in its place. Fucking space.
Now we come to a small bump in the road. We also encounter one of the most crappiest, hardest, slowest and crappiest Sonic games ever (I know I said 'crappiest' twice). Sonic Labyrinth, categorized by Screw Attack.com as the one of the worst Sonic games ever and I'm not too far to agree. Now due to the odd nature and lack of characters in this game, I can put this in a safe spot. The only characters in this game is Sonic and Robotnik. So this goes directly after Sonic 1, but before Sonic CD if anywhere. There, easy right. It better be for the worst Sonic game of all time.
Sonic the Fighters is next, or as titled in the States, Sonic Championship. This game has the full monty, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Nack, Amy, followed by some new characters who just like that gay Squirrel, never appeared again. This game can fit neatly after Sonic 3& Knuckles, but because of Nack and the original Metal Sonic being involved, this game fits in the Sonic TT universe. Fun though hard in the end.
Finally, I bet alot of people (considering the few who actually read this far) were waiting for the next game, Sonic 3D Blast. This game holds a special place in my heart as well as a normal place in the story line. This game happened after Sonic 3& Knuckles, not directly though. This game also serves as the game that happened directly before Sonic Adventure, I'll explain why later. This game never fails to put me in the Christmas spirit.
Now we have in my opinion, the worst Sonic game ever, Sonic Blast. Although featuring top notch 8 bit graphics that have never been rivaled, the gameplay sucks so much ass there is shit in its teeth, ultimately making the game quality plummet dramatically. This is the GameGear transition to Sonic & Knuckles, so its safe to say that it happened directly after it. But remember, Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles are not apart of the true story individually.
Now here we feature Sonic Jam, a very memorable Sonic game with a different version so fucking horrible, I'm not going to even acknowledge it. A gap in quality of the same game shouldn't exist. With a decent overworld and a collection of previous titles this game it pretty sweet just hearing about it. This also serves as the first full 3D Sonic game. This game , previous titles included leads me to say that this game happened directly after Sonic 3& Knuckles.
Now to Sonic R. An on foot racing game featuring Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Robotnik, Metal Sonic, the first of 2 appearances of Metal Knuckles, a Robotic Doll (?) and Super Sonic. Given that info, this game is forced to go after Sonic 3& Knuckles but before Sonic 3D Blast. Thats good, I'll say after Sonic Jam.
Ah, Sonic Adventure, the timeline confusion should stop for a minute, thats right. The next few games shoudl be smooth. Is clear that this game came right after Sonic 3D Blast, how? In the game manual, when you read Sonic's sypnosis, its says that Sonic returns from a long journey. Its easy to assume that the "long journey" refers to Flicky Island. Thats just about the only strand of evidence that leads to this aside from the fact that it had to have happened sometime after Sonic 3& Knuckles.
Now to Sonic Pocket Adventure. It seems that this game is just a mix of Sonic 1 to Sonic & Knuckles.
Remakes don't count. End of story.
Sonic Shuffle, this happened after Sonic Adventure, but not directly. It won't fit anywhere else, this is because of the hidden characters; Big, Gamma, Chao, and Super Sonic. 75% of these characters debuted in Sonic Adventure. But wait! Gamma died in Sonic Adventure. What the hell? The best response to this is that hidden character shouldn't really count. if you think that they should, then consider Super Sonic, why and how the hell can Sonic and Super Sonic exist at the same time as two different idividuals? Thats right, Super Sonic doesn't really count. Thats how.
Now we move on to Sonic Adventure 2, which we can assure happened after Sonic Adventure. There isn't really that much of a logical explanation on this one.
Sonic Advance is the next game. Now this is where the timeline twists up again. Now the way this looks, it can fit anywhere after Sonic Adventure 2, mainly because of the grinding feature, if it wasn't for that, then it would best fit directly after Sonic Adventure. But hey, with this, we ca make a close difference here. And it makes sense to say that this happened directly before Sonic Adventure 2.
The next games are Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Sonic Mega Collection. These don't count. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is a remake and The Mega Collection is--well, a collection with no actual inside gameplay of its own.
Now is Sonic Advance 2. This is Cream's debut game, it can fit neatly after Sonic Adventure 2 since after that, this is the first original game that follows.
Next is Sonic Adventure DX, which doesn't count.
Now, we have Sonic Heroes. Okay, this can fit fine, can't it? It can happen after Sonic Advance 2. There. Now the main picture here is Shadow now, he will serve as the main link for the following games.
Sonic Battle. This does not fit anywhere right now, but it will get its place soon, lets just place it in its own stand-alone position after Sonic Heroes.
But Sonic Advance 3, we can do, this is likely to have happened directly before Sonic Battle, how? That will be explained later.
Next is the Sonic Gems Collection, which doesn't count.
Now we move to Shadow's much deserved solo title, ironically titled "Shadow the Hedgehog". This happened directly after Sonic Heroes. Its clear enough, for 1 the graphics are the exact same, second, it covers Shadow's concern for the Shadow Androids that appeared at the end of the Dark Story in Sonic Heroes. Now Sonic Advance 3 followed, mainly because if it followed Sonic Battle, then Shadow would be involved in the game. After Sonic Advance 3, Sonic Battle took place, Shadow was sure of who he was, unlike in Shadow the Hedgehog, so it makes sense that after Shadow realized who he was, he'd know who he is. So this small rift is lined up as Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Battle.
Sonic Rush is next. The debut of a new character gives this game another checkpoint. Its easy to point out that it happened after Sonic Battle. There is no real proof of anything in this game, other than the supporing characters.
After the Rush, came Sonic Riders. More new characters. This can happen after Sonic Rush, it fits and the new characters makes it so that this game cannot have happened earlier.
After the Riders, we has Sonic Rivals. Now, I never played Sonic Rivals, so I can't say for sure where it can go, but with the info given about the game, I can place it in between Shadow the Hedgehog and Soinic Heroes.
Now we have Sonic the Hedgehog of the new generation. Blaze returns here as well. Not only that, another new character. With the info given, we can say that it happened after Sonic Riders. BUT, this game is one big time paradox and at the end, by blowing out the flames of Solaris, time reversed itself to a point where none of this game ever happened. So I guess in retrospect, this game goes nowhere...
Next is Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for the GBA. Remake.
Now on to Sonic and The Secret rings. This game, if it wasn't for the mini games, could have literally went anywhere in the timeline. But thanks to them, we can place it either before or after Sonic the Hedgehog of the new generation. Lets say after just to be safe.
Now on to Sonic Rush Adventure. Unfortunately I never played this game either, but with the info provided, we can say.....After Sonic Rush, most likely directly after.
Now we have Sonic Rivals 2. Another game I haven't played, but with the info given, I can say that this game happened after the new Sonic the Hedgehog, but before the Secret Rings.
Now at last we reach a closing to our circle. With Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, they could have made the title longer, why not? "Mario and his characters compete with Sonic and his characters in a series of Olympic activities with no real reward to reap". Sonic and Fat plummer man go to the Olympics. Why? Dunno. I don't want to put this game anywhere, but it fits neatly after Rivals 2.
Next we have the final game with Sonic in it which is Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Sonic indeed has a story in the Subspace, but thats irrelevant. The main point is where this game goes for Sonic. Considering his stage, the Green Hill Zone, and the characters who pass by in it, this game could have happened after Rivals 2 as well. But with the friendly competition involved with the Olympics, we can say that this game came after the Olympics.

Now there, all the Sonic games rolled up into a story line and even this has its bumps in the road.
But what if we considered the games that were canceled, like Sonic Crackers, Sonic X-Treme, or demo games like Sonic DS. Perhaps the thrid party games like the Tiger Handheld Sonic Underground. What if we mix in the adaptions of the Comics and every TV series about Sonic the Hedgehog, all four of them. If I were to include these, then the storyline will either collapse under the weight of its own sensitivity, or suffer a bad construction mixed with plot holes and major events that never happened. Plus lets mention that the comic series is still alive and well and I would have to fit each issue somewhere, and so on. But the same centerpoint comes in as it did with Zelda, the games were meant to be enjoyed, not aligned, as were the TV shows and Comics. So people should stop bitching about storylines, they're not perfect, and I bet Mario has it even worse.

The End...?

For a while there has been questions concerning Newgrounds and/or Newgrounds members, these questions are repetative as people don't generally know what they are asking (and how many times its been asked). Use this Faq along with the NG Faq and the NG Faq II.

So, it will be my pleasure to explain and answer these questions.
Special Thanks goes to absent, for the proper edits.

1. How can I change my username?
You can't. Here is the official post for it.
So, if you don't like your username, then you shouldn't have put it in when you registered.

2. How can I delete my account?
You can't. If you no long desire to be a NG user, just leave. To make sure you don't return, change your password to something random - one that you won't remember. Delete your favorites, your news posts, etc.

3. How do I make a flash movie/music?
For flash, go to Adobe.com. Just register and download the free trial.
For Music, Audio Sticky > Studios and Editors, but I recommend Fruity Loops. You can find the latest FL program at FL Studios.com. Download the trial version and get started! Note that with the trial version, you can't save, but you can still export you song.
For further help, look to the Tuorials section of the flash collections, or the NG search engine

4. What is "Verge of Death"
This is the biggest oppurtunity to recieve a Blam Point. You will see a submission on the "Verge of Death" when it is highlited in red, this means that so many users did not like this submission and the flash will be blammed literally in a matter of seconds, if you want a Blam Point, you better work fast.
In any case this is not a absolute explanation as the system of a "Verge of Death" is unknown. I will contact an admin to make sure and get a clear answer.

5. Why am I banned from submitting flash?
As stated here if you submit 2 flashes within a 30 day period and they both get blammed, you are banned for 15 days from submitting flash.
You also may have broken the rules of content when submitting a flash.
If your ban falls outside these reasons, you can contact WadeFulp and see if you can find out why.

6. Why are there so many ads here?
So the site can stay free.

If you have any questions that fall outside the NG Faq, ask here and they will be answered, as fast as I can get the info.

Happy New Years Newgrounds, I moved my Flash updates here.

Important news: Working on new flash.
As of December 26, 2007, I will be working on a new flash, as some of you know, I am involved in a collab of the Chaos Sonic Series, and I am still true and loyal to that collab, but until all the members are assembled, we can't make alot of progress so in that waiting time, I will be occupying myself by making a Megaman Zero flash consisting of a showdown between Zero and Harpuia. I will post updates for anyone who cares as I also will be posting updates for Chaos Sonic Chapter 2 when all the members are assembled.
As for the moment, I only have the preloader, I added some Katakana in with proper translations.
Here is a snapshot.

Update 2: After searching my ass off for some Sound Fx rips of Megaman Zero, I failed, so the actual movie, excluding menu selection may not have sound effects. I may make my own with Fruity Loops, but I don't know how far I can get. After all the fustration, I gave it a rest and started working on the title screen, I finished it and I wanted to show off. I corrected the Katakana where is says "Rockman" and I added music.
Here is my snapshot.

Update 3: I tried to isolate sounds and rip them, but no matter what channels I turned off and/or on, I was not able to isolate the individual Sound Effects, I was only able to mute the sound all together by unchecking the "Direct Sound A". I gave up on that and chose to get some non-video game sounds from flash kit. But now, I need help with music, I need some good battle music. I originally chose Snk's Rugal's theme "The Lord God", but when I tried to import it, it said I could not import it because there was a problem reading the file.
Here it is for those who don't know what it is. I checked the audio Portal for a remix, but no go. So now its up to anyone who bothers to read this, I need battle music, and it better be epic and good, it can be from anywhere as long as I can download it safely. I'm still looking for some, but I can use some help.
Anyway, I have a small screenshot of the Swf. file in action. This is before the fight scene.
Another Snapshot.
I have Crisis City from Sonic the Hedgehog (next gen) pending.

Update 4: Because my userpage is not too popular, I gave up on any hopes of anyone helping me find some battle music, so I made my own, my latest audio submission, Vanity thy name is Harpuia. My best yet and will be instantly shoved into the flash.

Update 5: I managed to squeeze in a small brawl as an opening, I also have a screenshot of the "Scenes" screen.
Here is the Scenes, menu.
Here is one snapshot of the fight opening.
Here is another one.
It may not look too interesting now, but I will soon jazz it up. I wanted to start small and build up.
Happy New Years.

I drew a picture for my mother, whose birthday was on the 18th. I made a miscalculation in the picture, my mother is 44, the picture says 43.
I was very proud of this pic, so I scanned it.
Just for the hell of it, I wanted to put it here on NG.
This is my original work.

Here is a link to the full sized pic.

Below is what NG will take.

There are times when I wonder "Why do so many people dislike sprite movies?" I have sat down and thought of a decent reason of this when common sense kicked in and I told myself, "Its probably just because they're just sprite movies, if someone submit a sprite flash and it gets voted higher than a hand drawn flash then the hand drawn animator will be mighty pissed." But even this makes no sense to me, because if a sprite flash gets a higher rating, then that means the people liked the sprite flash better than the hand drawn. Thats a dumb reason to hate sprite movies; because people liked it more than your flash, if thats the case, then you should hate any flash thats not yours and recieved a higher rating. Then after that I thought to myself, "Maybe its the amount of work you put into it...." Okay, that made more sense, with hand drawn, you have to make up every detail annd 9.99 times out of 10, you will have to make your own VOs. Alot of efffort is put into a hand drawn flash. Sprite flashes don't require as much effort for the sprtes are there for you. You just have to take the sprites and work from there. But even this can be justified, just not as much. Its not like sprite movies are easy or can be done any faster tan hand drawn, sure they take less effort, but if someone (like me) is serious about making a sprite flash movie, they will put more effort into it than just collecting some sprites and tweening. Just like hand drawn, you have to devise a background, a story, special effects, music, SFX, And even custom made animation. Like I said earlier, I may not take as much work, but it is still work, its not that much easier. People work hard to make a good sprite flash, just like how people work hard to make a good hand drawn flash. After this thought, I recall back to someone posting a review in the flash portal about how all sprite flash movies are intentionally crap. I translated this to, "Maybe because, most people don't work too hard on sprite flashes so they submit it half-asses." This slightly made less sense. More people make deliberate crap hand drawn flashes than sprite flashes. No one can deny this, the amount to pure, lude, intentional, retarded, flashes and half of them are hand drawn, 25 percent of them are pictures or videoes taken from somewhere and defiled during the transformation into portal spam, and the last 25 are sprite flash.
There is more crap hand drawn than sprited.
And finally I thought to myself, "Maybe its the amount of laziness that sprite flash artist have, they will make a flash and half-ass it due to laziness." Again, thats no real reason to hate a sprite flash, the artist got lazy the scolding should go to the artist.
I can't seem to answer that question, a solid bunch of newgrounders (probably including Tom Fulp) that from "just plain dislike" to "absolutely hate" sprite flashes. Why?
I just complete my flash, in which alot of work was put into it. The one thing that haunts me the most is that very bunch of people who will vote down on it just because its a sprite flash. The way I see it, if it gets a higher rating than a hand drawn flash, then that means more people liked it. Thats no reason to hate a sprite flash. Hard work, effort, determination, skill, and time was all put into it. Or perhaps its just the fact that people are using lisenced sprites for a movie, no one is making any profit off of it and they are just fans of the company's work. It never hurts for a fan to submit a prite flash, this stuff exist in many forms. Some band release EP albums making remakes of other people's work, selectively because they liked the song. People make fan-fiction, fan-art, fan sites. Why is it so bad to be a fan? On top of that how do explain self made sprites? Why would you hate sprite movies with someone who made their own sprites that is theirs and theirs alone? It doesn't make alot of sense. And most sprite flashes are overshadowed by hand drawn, so whats the problem? Why can't there just be equality in the flash portal? Its so stupid. Where is so much negetivity for sprite flashes coming from? Its seems to me that more and more people are disliking sprite flashes. And for so many people to have a common hatred, their must be a logical reason behind it.
Well, not really... Just look at racism...
I enjoy both sprite flash and hand drawn, but I perfer sprites. And I have been constantly confronted with people who hate sprite flashes--for like, no reason. Sprites aren't always limited to the pre-made animations, thats why people make custom edited sprites, So they can be used to break the limitations that the originals provided. I'll never find uut why people hate sprite movies on my own.
But I would sure like to find out...

I love Ramen.

And I loved it before it became cool so--NO, Naruto fans...just no.

I love just about every flavor, every type--except Miso.

Udon is good too, the noodles are thick and yummy and its good with thin broth.
The instant Ramen is to die for. Opening that cup is like smelling heaven.
I am going to try some with some Chinese noodles soon. I can only imagine what it'll taste like.

Oh dear, I sound like some ditsy anime girl........

This is a sig pic I took alot of time into making for the leader for the ToS crew. I'm proud of my work, but unfortunately, no one else from the crew liked it.
I'm feeling kinda.....how to say...
indignant.

I like it, so I'll keep it here.
I wish someone other than me liked it.

The underrated sig pic.

*sigh* Where should I start? Okay, lets start at the source, the well esteemed Halo series. Halo was once a nice innovative shooting game that made the XBox series a force to be reckoned with, this started a minor flood of shooting games acroos the XBox and the Ps2, Sony even tries licensing a game that play almost just like Halo, Tribes. It was a fine competition. Now in the new generation, with the large release of Gears of war, the shooting genre became one of the largest gaming genres ever, Sony still tried to come back by licensing the game Killswitch--you see the desperacy in this right? Now, it all comes down with the multimillion dollar Halo 3...
I may make a few enemies with this rant here, if you are a big Halo fan, you will not like this...
Halo 3 has blown Gears of war off the charts and almost any other shooting game on the 360 (and there are alot of them) Game stop has even mocked the sharp fall in Gears of war sales by making a commercial on returning games that you've lost interst in, using Gears of War online gameplay cameos. And if thats not enough, the latest issue of GI was full of fucking shooting games. I haven't been so disgusted at the video game world in my life. Halo 3 is released, then other companies start vomitting shooting games, why? Because the shooting genre has exploded in popularity. And I stay here pissed while men (and a few women) are tea bagging each other. Need I add that the vocabulary of tea bagging is not used correctly in the gaming world. Normally when someone is tea bagging, they are GIVING the tea bag. From what I've seen in the gaming world, that term is reversed, having the tea bagger recieving the tea bag. I know I'm being a bit anal on this, but being a black person who managed to dodge the persona of the african american stereotype, I'm around too much bad or misused grammar in everyday life to see it in a game. On top of that, people make the most retarded online accounts, like "bigfloppydonkeydick", or "insaneteabagger"(what the fuck?). Please note that these are actual names that I have encountered in my days of playing Gears of War online. You'd expect people would find more mature ways to address them selves or taunt someone (or maybe not). People sometimes call me insane, but I'm not some bored loser wasting his time "tea bagging" random people while having some vulgar and crude user name. This doesn't seem like its going to be stopping sometime soon. Halo 3 is out, and other shooting games are rushing in like pedophiles to a child play. Knowing Sony, they are going to try and combat this bullshit with their own crap. With shooting games flourishing and a tea bagging orgy in each one, I am sensing a sharp, yet steady decline in gaming. Its an endless spiral that will not end well, assuming it does. I'm not saying that I dislike Halo, Halo is a fun game, I just wish people and Game designers just grow the fuck up.. Make some other games that AREN'T shooting games, stop fucking tea bagging each other, a game of Monopoly amongst 5 year olds is more mature than that shit.

But, hell, who the fuck is gonna take me seriously, "just one guy's opinion, fuck him." This decline is in motion, and I'm just gonna spectate the collapse into hell from where I stand.

Oh, and Happy Holloween, I guess.
